22/02/2010 : Junior Fundraising Committee

Dear Athletes,

We don't need to remind you of what a close-knit group we are, you all know this. There is now an opportunity for YOU to assist in changing the face of Athletics in North Somerset forever!!!!!

We have already created a parental fundraising sub-committee, which we intend extending shortly. How would you like to be part of an Athlete fundraising group over the next couple of years to have influence over the direction of the club? The reason for this will be explained soon, but the club is looking to raise a LOT of money!

The Athlete Fundraising Group should be fun and be looking for innovative ideas to increase funds.

The time necessary should not be excessive as we know you have plenty of other commitments. Your meetings will need to be organized by you probably before of after training sessions, you will need a structure and to be consistent.

You will need to have plenty of ideas, and assist in organizing (with our support). Ways of encouraging people of all ages, and once again with our support, find ways of involving local businesses, and others who may not ordinarily be interested in Athletics.

If interested in being part of the future of the club and having fun along the way the athlete committee could be for you.
