

21/02/2010 : NSAC At The Midland Counties.

Well done to those athletes who attended the Midland Counties Champs which incorporated the South West Indoor Championships.
Ther competion held at the National Indoor Arena In Birmingham last weekend over two days.
A creditable performance was ahieved by Frankie Allen in the 60m and Ashley Pierson clocking a massive PB of 7.35 in the U17 60m heats. Ashley went on to finish a creditable 5th overall but obtained a gold as South West champion.
On the Sunday Anicia jumped a superb 1.50m to claim a bronze in the south west event.
NSAC coach Ben Coghlan also ran a PB in the final of the senior mens 60m clocking 7.02s claiming the third place in the final and Bronze medal in the Midland Championships but Gold in the South West event.
We would encourage many more of you to compete in these Midland events as our standards are well within our capabilities.
